Job Description: Project Administrator – Interior Fit-outPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator with a strong background in interior fit-out and civil works. The ideal candidate will support project managers and site teams in planning, coordinating, and executing fit-out projects across India and Dubai. The role requires excellent organizational skills, knowledge of construction/interior processes, and the ability to manage project documentation, procurement, and communication effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in day-to-day coordination of fit-out and civil projects.
- Maintain project documentation including contracts, drawings, correspondence, and approvals.
- Prepare project schedules, track progress, and report project status updates.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants for timely material delivery and approvals.
- Handle procurement processes, prepare purchase orders, and maintain vendor records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Manage site-related administrative tasks such as work permits, timesheets, and attendance.
- Support in cost tracking, invoice verification, and budget monitoring.
- Facilitate communication between design, site, and management teams.
- Organize project meetings, prepare MOMs (Minutes of Meetings), and follow up on action points.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Project Administration within Interior Fit-out or Civil construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out project cycles, materials, and site coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD/Project Management software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in Interior Fit-out companies (mandatory).
- Exposure to civil/interior construction projects in both India and UAE.
- Familiarity with local regulations, permits, and compliance requirements.
