You will join our Group Business Transformation - Process Excellence department

As our new Process Excellence Consultant, you will be part of a collaborative and engaged team (colleagues spread across Denmark & India locations) that thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be based in our Cybercity, Gurugram office. The Process Excellence team acts as trusted advisors to the support functions in Ramboll by enabling them to streamline their processes through lean and six sigma methodology. We collaborate and share experiences & best practices across the support functions to ensure that we grow together as one Ramboll.

Role Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Process Excellence Consultant to join our Process Excellence team. The role will focus on driving operational efficiency, improving process performance, and enabling strategic transformation initiatives across functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in process mapping, process improvement methodologies, process design mindset, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points, improvement opportunities, and expectations across processes and functions
  • Drive end-to-end process excellence initiatives, including process discovery, analysis, mapping, and optimization using Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement tools
  • Facilitate and lead workshops to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and co-create process improvements and design a new, efficient process
  • Conduct root cause analysis, identify improvement opportunities, and evaluate automation potential (e.g., RPA, low-code solutions)
  • Develop value stream maps, define and standardize processes, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring performance
  • Support implementation and change management activities to ensure sustainable adoption of improved processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and project leads to alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of process improvement and Lean methodologies; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in process improvement, business transformation, or operations consulting
  • Graduate in any stream
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems using a data-driven and structured approach
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration
  • High level of ownership, reliability, and team orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with process mapping; familiarity with BPMN standards and process documentation tools is a plus
