As part of our growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and streamline the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Ensure accuracy in financial data and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards.

Monitor and report on project-wise and store-wise financial performance.

1. Project & Inventory Accounting:

Maintain detailed records of project costs, materials, labor, and margins.

Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to track expenses and billing.

Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation for modular kitchen components and fittings.

1. Accounts Receivable & Payable:

Manage client invoicing, follow-ups, and collections to ensure healthy cash flow.

Process vendor bills, payments, and reconciliation.

Handle vendor agreements and maintain records for subcontractors and suppliers.

1. Taxation & Compliance:

Handle all statutory compliances including GST, TDS, PF, and Professional Tax.

Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings on time.

Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

1. Budgeting & Cost Control:

Assist management in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

Track actuals vs. budgets and suggest cost optimization strategies.

Analyze project profitability and highlight variances or financial risks.

1. Team & Coordination:

Liaise with internal departments—sales, design, production, procurement, and installation—for financial inputs.

Report financial insights and summaries to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.

Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / SAP.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple ongoing projects.

Prior experience in modular furniture, manufacturing, or interior design industry preferred.

Female candidates preferred

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter.

5–8 years of accounting experience (preferably in modular kitchen, interiors, or related sectors).

Compensation:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and industry standards.
