Job Summary:
The Sr. Key Account Manager (KAM) Lead / Area Sales Manager EDC Retail will be responsible for driving business growth through Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and digital payment solutions in the retail segment. The role involves managing key accounts, expanding merchant acquisition, and leading sales teams to achieve revenue and transaction volume targets. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with key retail partners and ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive merchant acquisition and retention for EDC/POS and digital payment products in the assigned territory.
- Manage and grow key retail accounts through effective relationship management and service excellence.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets for EDC devices and transaction volumes.
- Lead and mentor sales executives / territory managers for daily sales activities, performance tracking, and target achievement.
- Collaborate with operations, product, and risk teams to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of merchants.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage end-to-end account lifecycle.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline reviews to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory norms, and service quality standards.
