Job Purpose:

To lead and drive regional sales operations for RFT tiles by managing a team of sales executives/distributors, developing dealer networks, and achieving sales targets through strategic planning, customer engagement, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for cement tiles within the assigned region.

Monitor dealer/distributor sales performance and ensure timely order booking and collections.

Drive new customer acquisition across project, retail, and institutional segments.

2. Channel Development

Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and channel partners in key ceramic markets.

Ensure adequate channel inventory and display setups for product visibility.

Conduct regular market visits to strengthen relationships with key channel partners.

3. Project & Institutional Sales

Identify and develop relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and government agencies.

Generate project enquiries and convert them into business orders.

Coordinate with technical and project support teams for site execution.

4. Market Analysis & Business Development

Conduct competitor analysis, market mapping, and pricing studies.

Identify potential markets and propose region-specific sales strategies.

Launch RFT (Ready to fix tiles) and promotions in coordination with the marketing team.

5. Team Management

Supervise and guide Area Sales Managers / Sales Executives.

Train the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling.

Review performance and implement corrective actions where needed.

6. Customer Relationship Management

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly.

Build long-term relationships with key clients and influencers.

Monitor post-sales service and coordinate with plant/logistics for timely delivery.

7. Reporting & MIS

Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and competitor data.

Share periodic updates with the management team on market trends and target achievements.

Ensure collection of outstanding payments as per company policy.


Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of cement tiles, building materials, or construction products.

Excellent sales planning, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage channel networks and project sales simultaneously.

Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and reporting systems.

Leadership qualities to drive a geographically spread sales team.


Qualification & Experience:

Graduate/Diploma preferably in Civil Engineering.

MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.

3-5 years of sales experience in cement tiles, ceramic tiles, building materials, or related industry.

Proven track record in achieving regional sales targets and handling a team.
