Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled engineer who will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs for our teams. The role focuses on enhancing the technical capabilities of engineers, customer success teams, and cross-functional departments by building a strong understanding of our products, IoT architecture, and implementation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive training materials: Develop presentations, hands-on labs, video tutorials, and technical documentation that meet the needs of internal teams.
  • Deliver engaging training: Lead workshops, webinars, and in-person training sessions on our platform, core IoT concepts (MQTT, Modbus), and best practices for implementation.
  • Build a learning environment: Create and manage a hands-on training space with relevant hardware (microcontrollers, sensors, gateways) and cloud configurations to facilitate practical, real-world learning.
  • Stay up-to-date: Maintain expert-level knowledge of our platform, from device firmware and communication protocols to our cloud architecture and data analytics features.
  • Bridge engineering and business: Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to stay ahead of new features, translating complex technical updates into clear, concise, and accessible training content.
  • Measure & Improve: Develop assessments and feedback mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of training programs and continuously refine the content and delivery for maximum impact.
  • Act as a technical mentor: Serve as a key technical resource for our internal teams, helping them solve problems and confidently articulate the value and functionality of our platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience: 35 years of proven experience in IoT solution development or a similar technical role.
  • Passion for teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring, explaining complex topics, and empowering others with knowledge.
  • Core Technical Skills:
  • Firmware Development: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded systems.
  • Embedded Systems: Deep understanding of 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, STM32), peripherals, and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C).
  • IoT Protocols: In-depth knowledge of application-layer protocols like MQTT and industrial protocols like Modbus. Solid grasp of the TCP/IP stack.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with at least one major IoT cloud platform: AWS IoT (IoT Core, Greengrass) or Azure IoT (IoT Hub, IoT Edge).
  • OS & Tools: Comfortable in a Linux environment and proficient with version control (Git) and embedded debugging tools (GDB).
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills are essential for this role.
