Role Summary CGI is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Project Manager to join our Project Management team. As a Project Manager for Large Scale Assessments, you will lead the execution of a portfolio of educational assessment projects, research studies, and product deliveries. Working closely with clients (philanthropic organizations, foundations, or state government bodies), you'll play a pivotal role in strategizing, designing, planning, and implementing innovative assessment solutions that drive systemic change in education.
Key Responsibilities ● Lead all aspects of educational assessment and evaluation projects, ensuring adherence to methodology, work plans, budgets, timelines, and contractual obligations. ● Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle. ● Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing corrective measures, and ensuring timely issue resolution. ● Oversee field activities, including developing and delivering training materials, conducting training sessions, and guiding the team toward successful project implementation. ● Enhance efficiency and standardization by improving SOPs and project tools. ● Collaborate on data analysis, report development, and presentations to extract and present actionable insights for stakeholders. ● Build, motivate, and lead a team of project associates to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Key Requirements ● Master's/Bachelor's degree in business management, general management, education, or a related field. ● Minimum 5 years of full-time relevant experience, preferably in educational assessments, impact consulting, project management, or impact evaluation. ● Proven track record of successfully implementing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. ● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. ● Experience working in the development and public sector, with a deep understanding of the sector's challenges, trends, and best practices. ● Sound knowledge of research and evaluation methodologies, including statistics and quantitative data analysis. ● Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. ● Excellent facilitation and training abilities, with proven experience in leading workshops and building team capabilities.
