Opportunity – Associate (Direct Tax) | Tier 1 Law Firm

Role Highlights:
  • Tax Advisory: Provide advisory support on transaction tax, international tax, and other direct tax matters.
  • Structuring & Compliance: Assist in tax structuring of transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, internal teams, and external advisors to deliver practical and commercially sound solutions.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed legal and financial research on complex tax matters and provide actionable guidance.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Support both advisory and litigation matters as needed, including drafting and reviewing submissions.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Associate-level professional with 3–4 years of experience in direct tax advisory or litigation.
  • Experience in transaction tax and international tax.
  • Chartered Accountant with tax advisory experience or lawyer with litigation experience.
  • Preference for candidates with local language skills.
  • Educational background: CA or LLB (or equivalent).
  • Candidates from Big 4/6 firms or reputable law firms preferred.
  • Strong advisory, analytical, and drafting skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple matters efficiently.
