Position: Import Manager

Experience: 8–15 years

Location: Greater Noida Kasna

Budget: 60K-70K

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end import operations across PAN India, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods.

Coordinate with seaports, Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, and shipping lines for smooth import clearance and logistics execution.

Oversee and verify all
import documentation
including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other statutory documents.

Handle freight documentation and ensure correct application of INCOTERMS and customs regulations.

Plan and monitor container movements, ensuring efficient utilization and turnaround of containers.

Negotiate with vendors and service providers to optimize freight cost and delivery timelines.

Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and other import regulations.

Maintain strong coordination between internal departments such as Procurement, Accounts, and Operations.

Prepare and present reports on import status, freight cost analysis, and vendor performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication and coordination skills – capable of dealing effectively with internal teams, government authorities, and overseas suppliers.

In-depth knowledge of seaport operations, freight documentation, and customs clearance procedures.

Experience working closely with CHA, shipping lines, and logistics partners.

Strong understanding of container management and PAN India logistics network.

Proficiency in MS Office, and import documentation software.

Leadership abilities with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
