We are urgently hiring for the position of Import Manager with the following criteria:

  • Budget: 45000 to 55000/- Monthly CTC
  • Location - Noida

Import Manager – Job Description

  • Handle end-to-end import operations for both air and sea shipments.
  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers, shipping lines, airlines, CHAs, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth movement of goods.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all import-related documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, insurance certificates, and other statutory paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT policies, FTP guidelines, and all applicable government rules.
  • Liaise with CHA for customs clearance, duty calculations, assessment queries, and documentation submission.
  • Track, monitor, and follow up on shipments to ensure timely arrival and proactively resolve operational delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of import data, shipment status, duty structures, and overall import cost sheets.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service terms with shipping lines, airlines, and logistics partners to optimize cost and improve service efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Finance, Purchase, Warehouse, and Production for shipment updates, documentation needs, and issue resolution.
  • Review, analyze, and streamline import processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
  • Monitor changes in import regulations and proactively implement required updates to ensure full compliance.
  • Manage vendor performance, evaluate service quality, and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
