Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned
Import Export (EXIM) Manager
to lead and manage international trade operations for our organization. The role involves overseeing import and export activities, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, and optimizing logistics efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills with a deep understanding of trade documentation and statutory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end
    import and export operations
    , including shipments, documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade standards.
  • Handle
    LC shipments
    , document releases from bankers, and maintain coordination with freight forwarders, CHAs, transporters, and courier partners.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to
    legal, safety, and compliance
    requirements across geographies.
  • Negotiate with logistics and freight partners to
    optimize costs
    and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
  • Ensure all operations align with applicable
    regulatory, statutory, and documentation standards
    .
  • Oversee
    insurance and claims
    processes related to global shipments.
  • Lead and supervise a
    team of logistics and EXIM professionals
    to ensure smooth and compliant trade operations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in
    International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field
    .
  • Proven experience in managing
    end-to-end EXIM operations
    in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong understanding of
    logistics, documentation, customs clearance, and international shipping
    .
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
