To accelerate our growth, we are seeking an Assistant Vice President of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing strategy.

Position Overview

The Assistant VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, articulate our differentiated value proposition, generate qualified leads, and support sales growth. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and strong knowledge of the IT services industry. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and experienced in B2B technology marketing – with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate has a track record of managing teams across disciplines and working with sales, product management, and other stakeholders across multiple time zones. This role will support global clients and markets with a focus on US clients. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and Alliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team, with final oversight and accountability of all materials and activities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials including web copy, case studies, white papers, presentations, and proposals.
  • Oversee social media and digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, generating relevant content and increasing company presence through expanded reach.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align marketing activities with sales objectives.
  • Oversee website content, ensuring it reflects the correct brand image, articulates our value proposition, reflects our current service offerings and is optimized for SEO.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics and ROI.
  • Coordinate and execute webinars, events, and trade shows.
  • Lead demand generation programs to deliver qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Manage vendor relationships, marketing budgets, and external agencies as needed.
  • Stay current with IT industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging marketing technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Masters degree in Marketing is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience – experience and expertise in marketing IT services in the Unites States a must.
  • Experience managing a marketing team a must.
  • Clear and crisp communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and content strategy.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
