We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Vice President – Sales & Business Development who will drive our growth strategy, lead high-performing sales teams, and help us achieve our organizational mission of becoming India's most preferred gold and silver exchange partner.
Role Overview
The Vice President – Sales & Business Development will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing strategic sales and growth initiatives across regions. The role involves leading the regional sales teams, creating result-oriented sales strategies, exploring new markets, and ensuring achievement of monthly and annual business targets.
The VP will report directly to the Business Head, while regional and area sales managers will report to the VP. This leadership role requires strategic thinking, strong team management, and market expansion capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for gold and silver buying verticals across multiple regions.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities through direct and partner-driven models.
Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to stay ahead in the market.
Drive revenue growth through new channel partnerships, franchise expansion, and strategic collaborations.
Formulate monthly and quarterly business targets in alignment with company goals and Mission 100 Cr vision.
Business Development & Expansion
Explore and develop new markets, regions, and business partnerships to expand HNS Gold's footprint.
Build channel partner networks to scale gold buying and silver trading operations efficiently.
Design and execute local marketing and promotional campaigns in coordination with the central marketing team.
Team Management & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and monitor Area Heads, Regional Sales Managers, and field teams for performance-driven results.
Create a performance-based culture focused on accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Conduct regular business reviews, training, and development sessions for the sales teams.
Operational & Financial Oversight
Monitor and evaluate daily and monthly sales performance metrics and targets.
Ensure operational efficiency, adherence to company SOPs, and smooth sales process execution.
Coordinate closely with Finance, Marketing, and Operations for seamless workflow and customer experience.
Customer Experience & Compliance
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by promoting ethical practices and transparency in all transactions.
Maintain compliance with all internal policies and relevant financial regulations.
Implement effective risk management and audit readiness practices within sales operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience (3–5 years) in Sales / Business Development / Leadership roles in Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or Gold Loan sector.
Strong understanding of retail finance, customer acquisition, and gold-related financial products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — Fluent in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multi-location teams and drive business goals.
Strategic thinker with analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and execution focus.
Female candidates from North India preferred due to regional operational alignment.
