Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Geography Facilitator for Middle and High School at Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam, located in Chennai. The Geography Facilitator will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum content, and implementing effective teaching strategies to enhance students' understanding of geography. The role requires the ability to create lesson plans, facilitate class discussions, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback to foster growth and knowledge. The candidate will also collaborate with faculty members and participate in school activities that support the overall learning objectives.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of geographical concepts .
  • Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire students.
  • Experience in using innovative pedagogy methods and integrating technology into lesson delivery.
  • Postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field and a teaching qualification.
  • Previous teaching experience in a similar role is preferred, especially ICSE/CBSE.
