Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Specialist with expertise in admissions and counseling. This role focuses on enhancing student enrollment, building strong relationships with prospective students and parents, and developing strategies to position our institution as a preferred choice for education.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions and Enrollment:

  • Develop and execute strategies to meet student enrollment targets.

  • Counsel prospective students and parents on course offerings, admission procedures, and career opportunities.

  • Organize and participate in admission drives, education fairs, and seminars to attract potential students.

Lead Generation and Follow-Up:

  • Identify potential students through various channels, including online inquiries, walk-ins, referrals, and partnerships with schools and colleges.

  • Follow up on leads promptly, converting inquiries into confirmed admissions.

Student Counseling:

  • Provide personalized guidance to students to help them choose the right programs based on their interests, goals, and academic backgrounds.

  • Address queries regarding admission processes, scholarships, and financial assistance.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.

  • Act as a brand ambassador to promote the institution's values and offerings.

Marketing and Outreach:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for student recruitment.

  • Use social media, digital marketing, and local outreach to enhance visibility and engagement.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, inquiries, and admissions in the CRM system.

  • Analyze enrollment data and provide insights to improve recruitment strategies.

Collaboration and Event Management:

  • Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.

  • Assist in planning and hosting orientation programs and open house events for prospective students and parents.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).

  • 2+ years of experience in admissions, counseling, or business development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive approach.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with the Bengaluru education market and trends is a plus.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital platforms.
