As we pursue sustained growth, the CBO of General Staffing will assume a crucial role in spearheading the expansion and profitability of our GS Staffing BFSI business unit. This position requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in the BFSI sector, exceptional business development skills, a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven track record of nurturing and leading high-performing teams.

Job Summary:
The Business Head of BFSI, Quess Staffing Solutions will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our General Staffing BFSI business Vertical. This role requires a strategic leader who brings extensive knowledge of the BFSI sector, strong business development skills, very strong entrepreneurial skills, excels in communication, and a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams. Creativity to explore new industry contributions within our digitally advanced company is also crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the BFSI practice in Quess Staffing Solutions
- Revenue, Headcount, EBITA, and Efficiency (Core to FTE ratio) to be the key metrics
- Expand the business by devising specific solutions to meet the business needs of the BFSI industry
- Make Quess the most preferred partner in the BFSI Industry by developing new solutions and aligning the internal organization for delivery to the BFSI Industry. Work closely with all other functions for the same
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability in the General staffing division, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and expansion strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, account managers, and support staff, fostering a culture of performance excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Drive business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and expanding market share.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, and operations, to optimize processes, resources, and technology to support business objectives.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of staffing operations, including candidate sourcing, screening, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to staffing, including employment laws, visa regulations, and data privacy standards.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, and employee engagement, implementing strategies to address areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BFSI General staffing and workforce management, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership in the General staffing space.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Must have 18+ years of total experience
- Should have 15+ years of core industry experience (Ex. BFSI)
- Should have revenue generation experience
- Should have P&L ownership experience
- Deep understanding of the BFSI job market, including technology trends, skillsets in demand, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams to achieve excellence.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving sales and exceeding performance targets in a competitive environment.
- Proficiency in using staffing software and technology platforms to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in all business activities.
