Assistant General Manager Sales

Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving business growth, managing teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with company and OEM standards. The role involves strategic planning, performance management, and coordination between departments to achieve dealership objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise departmental managers (Sales, Service, Customer Relations, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, CSI/SSI scores, profitability, and process compliance.
- Coordinate with OEM (Toyota) officials for audits, campaigns, and performance reviews.
- Drive team motivation, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure high standards of customer experience and handle escalated issues effectively.
- Oversee budgeting, expense control, and P&L management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory norms, and brand guidelines.
- Support marketing initiatives and local promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / MBA preferred (Specialization in Sales, Marketing, or Operations).
- Minimum 1015 years of experience in the automobile industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations (Sales, Service, CRM, Finance, and Insurance).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
