Core responsibilities
- Strategic HR planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business goals, such as supporting workforce needs and driving growth.
- Recruitment and talent management: Manage the entire hiring process, from recruitment to onboarding, and develop programs for employee training, engagement, and retention.
- Employee and labor relations: Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and handling disciplinary actions to foster a positive environment.
- Compliance and safety: Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, while also coordinating health, safety, and wellness programs.
- Compensation and benefits: Administer and manage employee benefits, payroll, and compensation programs.
- Performance management: Oversee performance appraisal systems, conduct performance reviews, and work with management to develop talent.
- HR administration: Maintain accurate HR records, manage HR metrics, and provide reports to management to support decision-making.
Required skills and qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience: Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role, with a strong preference for industry-specific experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities are also crucial.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor law and best HR practices, along with experience using HR systems and databases.
- Attributes: People-oriented and results-driven with the ability to build relationships and manage conflict effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹53,874.46 per month
