Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our pharmaceutical segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales of pharmaceutical machinery and equipment, with well-established relationships in the pharma industry across India. This role requires a strategic mindset, technical understanding, and the ability to drive business growth through key account management, market development, and solution selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets in the pharmaceutical segment
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to deal closure and after-sales support
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the pharma industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across India
- Work closely with application, technical, and service teams to offer customized solutions to clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Ensure timely submission of sales forecasts, reports, and CRM updates.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Engineer in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical
- MBA (Marketing or related field) is preferred
Experience:
710 years of experience in capital equipment or machinery sales for the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record in selling complex technical solutions
• Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
