Position Overview

The Solution Architect / Head of Technology will lead the end-to-end technology strategy, architecture, and execution for enterprise-grade digital products, including microservice-based portals, Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and AI-driven solutions. This role requires strong hands-on development experience, architectural leadership, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in delivering scalable, secure, and future-ready platforms on modern cloud

environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technology Leadership & Strategy

Define and own the overall technology roadmap, architectural vision, and engineering best practices.

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, cloud, automation) to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Oversee end-to-end solution design ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

  1. Solution Architecture & Design

Architect and design microservices-based systems using modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns (API-first, event-driven, containerization, service mesh).

Lead architecture for enterprise portals integrating KMS, LMS, CRM, ERP and other internal systems.

Design robust API gateways, authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SSO), and data integration layers.

  1. Application Development & Engineering Excellence

Guide engineering teams in implementing clean, modular, and testable code with modern development practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps, IaC).

Review solution architecture, technical designs, and code to ensure alignment with standards.

Oversee modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native microservices.

  1. AI & Data Engineering

Lead the integration of AI/ML/GenAI capabilities into core platforms:

Recommendation systems in LMS

Intelligent search in KMS

NLP-driven chatbots and knowledge agents

Predictive analytics and personalization

Work with data engineering teams to establish data pipelines, data lakes, MDM, and governance.

  1. Cloud, Infrastructure & Security

Architect scalable, secure solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP using serverless, Kubernetes, containers, and managed services.

Establish cloud governance, cost optimization, monitoring, and disaster-recovery strategies.

Ensure compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, NIST).

  1. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering, DevOps, QA, and architecture teams.

Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to convert requirements into scalable solutions.

Serve as the technical point-of-contact for vendors, partners, and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

10–18+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and technology leadership.

Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, , or similar technologies.

Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm).

Proven experience building KMS, LMS, or large enterprise portals.

Proficiency in AI/ML technologies: NLP, LLM integration, vector databases, RAG, model deployment.

Strong command of API design, event streaming (Kafka/RabbitMQ), databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and distributed systems.

Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automated testing, and observability tools
