Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Python/FastAPI) to join our growing team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services that power our applications. Your work will directly impact performance, reliability, and user experience across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RESTful & WebSocket APIs using FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to design and integrate APIs.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Manage and optimize database interactions (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).
  • Implement secure authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
  • Build asynchronous applications leveraging Python async features.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
  • Use Git for version control and follow collaborative workflows.
  • Debug, test, and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth performance.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
  • Proven experience with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Good knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Git and standard branching workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving & communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
