Job Description

Digital Corsel is looking for a highly skilled and performance-driven SEO Executive to join our team at BTM 1st Stage, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in WordPress, and a deep understanding of SEO strategies that drive measurable results.

This role requires someone who can independently build SEO strategies, handle technical challenges, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Roles and Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning & Research

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research using Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, Semrush, and other industry tools to identify high-intent keywords.
  • Perform detailed competitor analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and winning strategies.
  • Create customized SEO plans for clients, outlining clear short-term and long-term goals.

2. Technical SEO & Web Development

  • Mandatory: Manage website backends with expert-level proficiency in WordPress, ensuring smooth execution of all SEO implementations.
  • Mandatory: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues—including indexing problems—using log analysis, crawl reports, and technical audits.
  • Perform complete website audits to fix structural problems, broken links, and Core Web Vitals issues.
  • Optional: Use basic PHP knowledge to support developers or make minor backend adjustments.

3. On-Page & Content Optimization

  • Implement on-page SEO practices including meta tags, internal linking, URL restructuring, alt-text optimization, and content hierarchy improvements.
  • Handle blog optimization—revise existing content and structure new articles for readability and keyword relevance.

4. Local SEO & Off-Page Strategy

  • Manage and optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings, maintaining NAP consistency and improving local visibility.
  • Execute ethical off-page SEO strategies to improve domain authority through quality link-building.

5. Analytics, Reporting & Client Management

  • Track website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics, analyzing traffic trends and health issues.
  • Monitor keyword rankings and campaign progress using tools like Semrush and Ubersuggest.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communication regarding SEO strategies, deliverables, and results.

Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Strong experience with WordPress backend management.
  • Ability to identify and fix indexing errors, crawl issues, and technical SEO problems.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Ubersuggest.
  • Deep knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Local SEO techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Basic working knowledge of PHP.
  • Experience coordinating with developers and designers.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
