Lead and manage project-based sales from client engagement to project delivery. Drive revenue, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain profitability.
Key Individual Accountabilities:-
Strategic
Project Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective project sales strategies that align with the company's goals and market dynamics.
Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt project sales strategies.
Client Engagement: Identify and target potential clients for project sales, building a robust client portfolio
Financial
Budget Management: Effectively manage project budgets, ensuring resource allocation meets financial constraints and profitability target.
Cost Estimation: Develop accurate project proposals and cost estimates that align with client needs and financial objectives.
Revenue Growth: Drive project sales to meet or exceed revenue targets, contributing to the company's overall financial success
Customer/ External Orientation:-
Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their project requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Client Communication: Provide clear and regular communication with clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and project progress updates.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet quality and safety standards, complying with relevant industry regulations and exceeding customer expectations.
People Orientation:-
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and installation, to ensure successful project execution.
Leadership: Lead project sales teams, providing direction, motivation, and guidance to achieve collective goals.

Clients: Engage with clients to understand their project needs, provide project proposals, and address inquiries or concerns, ensuring client satisfaction.
Suppliers: Interact with suppliers to source materials and services required for projects, negotiate terms, and maintain effective supply chain relationships.
Regulatory Authorities: Communicate with regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance with safety, quality, and industry regulations.
Contractors and Subcontractors: Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors involved in project execution, coordinating activities and ensuring project progress.
Internal
Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including design, engineering, and installation teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Sales Team: Lead and guide the project sales team, ensuring alignment with project goals and strategies.
Management: Report project progress, budget management, and performance to senior management, seeking approvals when necessary.
Finance Department: Coordinate with the finance department to manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial objectives are met.
Quality Assurance Team: Work with quality assurance teams to ensure project compliance with quality and safety standards.

Software Tools: Familiarity with project management software and tools for effective project planning and tracking.
Key Performance Indicator:-
Project Sales Revenue: Measure the total revenue generated from project sales against set targets, ensuring revenue growth.
Project Timeliness: Assess the ability to complete projects within established timelines, meeting or exceeding project delivery schedules.
Client Satisfaction: Gather client feedback and assess client satisfaction with project execution, aiming for high levels of customer contentment.
Project Compliance: Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, minimizing instances of non-compliance.
Project Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and compare actual costs to planned budgets, focusing on effective cost management.
Resource Allocation Efficiency: Evaluate the efficient allocation of resources, such as manpower and materials, to optimize project performance and reduce resource wastage.
• Project Documentation: Ensure the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive project records, including work reports, service records, and parts used.
Market Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, competitor activities, and adapt sales and project strategies as necessary to remain competitive.
Risk Management: Evaluate the ability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively, reducing unexpected project delays or issues.
Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)
- MBA (Preferred)
Experience:
- 510 years in project sales (preferably in construction/building materials/fenestration)
