Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Hadapsar, Pune

Experience Required: Minimum 5–8 years

v Key Responsibilities:

Ø GST (Goods & Services Tax):

· Accurate calculation of GST for sales, purchases, and input tax credit.

· Timely preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

· Handling and replying to GST notices, assessments, and reconciliations.

Ø TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):

· Calculation and deduction of TDS on applicable payments.

· Preparation and filing of TDS returns.

· Managing TDS certificates and responding to TDS-related notices.

Ø Income Tax Compliance:

· Maintaining books of accounts in compliance with Income Tax norms.

· Assisting in preparation of advance tax, income tax returns, and audits.

· Coordinating with auditors/tax consultants for statutory compliance.

Ø Payroll, PF & ESIC:

· Overseeing salary processing and statutory deductions.

· Ensuring timely payment and filing of PF & ESIC returns.

· Managing payroll compliance and employee-related statutory benefits.

Ø Accounting & Reporting:

· Finalization of accounts, preparation of balance sheet, P&L, and MIS reports.

· Bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.

· Supervising junior accountants and ensuring accuracy of accounting records.

Ø Statutory Compliance:

· Ensuring timely filing of all statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax).

· Liaison with government authorities for queries, notices, or assessments.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

· Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred).

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESIC regulations.

· Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple compliances independently.
