Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Accounts with a minimum of 4 years of accounting and finance experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.), finalization of accounts, and managing end-to-end financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in accounting software (Tally/Zoho), and the ability to supervise and guide junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Finalization of accounts and monthly calculation, filing & returns for TDS & GST.
  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PTEC, PTRC, and IT requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accounting work in Tally ERP 9 and Zoho Books.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Handle GST returns, TDS, taxation, ITR, and finance-related matters.
  • Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate journal entries.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with management.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate reports.
  • Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory), tax consultants, CA, CS, and government authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory laws and financial regulations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Collect payments and manage overdue accounts effectively.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, Zoho Books, Payroll management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, ITR, and financial compliance (mandatory).
  • Experience in preparing and filing statutory returns.
  • Ability to produce work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Prior experience in managing accounts independently is preferred.

Location: Pune

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
