Position Overview

The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, vendor reconciliation, statutory compliance, and supporting management with accurate financial data. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and experience in handling accounts specific to IT hardware, distribution, and system integration business models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / ERP system.

  • Ensure timely posting of sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries.

  • Handle reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.

  • Maintain and update accounts receivable and payable ledgers.

  • Track project-wise revenue and cost booking for IT hardware & services.

  • Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.).

  • Manage TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.

  • Support annual audit and statutory compliance requirements.

  • Maintain records for tax assessments and financial audits.

  • Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries.

  • Track outstanding payments and coordinate with sales & operations for collections.

  • Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

  • Generate periodic profitability and expense analysis reports.

  • Vendor & Customer Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors for payment schedules, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.

  • Follow up with customers for payment realization and collection.

  • Ensure timely closure of purchase orders and sales invoices.

  • Internal Controls & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and controls.

  • Maintain proper documentation for invoices, purchase bills, and contracts.

  • Liaise with banks for payments, LC, and fund transfers.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP.
  • Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting standards.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.

Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Certification in Tally / Accounting software preferred.

Experience :- Minimum 4-6 6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an IT hardware / distribution / system integrator company

Compensation:- As per industry standards and experience.

  • Accuracy of financial data and entries.
  • Timely closure of monthly books.
  • Compliance with statutory timelines (GST/TDS).
  • Timely reconciliation and vendor/customer account management.
  • Quality and timeliness of MIS reports.
