Position Overview

The Cyber Security Sales Manager will be responsible for managing strategic sales initiatives for the organisation's cyber security portfolio within the enterprise market segment. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with expertise in large-scale solution selling, navigating complex procurement processes, and fostering trusted relationships with C-level executives, CISOs, and senior IT decision-makers. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Management

  • Develop and execute enterprise-level sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and margin targets for cybersecurity solutions and services.
  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities in targeted industries, including finance, government, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.
  • Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles with extended timelines, involving procurement, legal, compliance, and technical evaluation teams.

Client Relationship & Account Development

  • Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key accounts to position the company as a strategic security partner.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with enterprise clients to ensure solution adoption, contract renewals, and upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary commercial liaison between the client and internal delivery teams, ensuring contractual obligations are met.

Solution Alignment & Value Delivery

  • Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, and security consultants to design comprehensive security solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Present tailored proposals addressing technical, operational, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
  • Articulate the business impact of security risks and demonstrate the ROI of proposed solutions.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, technology advancements, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide structured feedback to product development and marketing teams to enhance competitive positioning.
  • Represent the company at enterprise-focused industry forums, regulatory briefings, and trade events.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reporting within the enterprise CRM system by corporate governance standards.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, territory plans, and quarterly business reports for executive management.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies, pricing guidelines, and contract approval processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 4 years in cyber security or IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing multi-million-dollar deals in complex, long-cycle enterprise sales environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT and security architectures, including cloud, network, and endpoint security.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Competencies

  • Established network within enterprise sectors such as banking, telecom, government, or energy.
  • Ability to influence decision-making at the boardroom level.
  • Experience in managing large RFP/RFQ processes and framework agreements.
