Customer Support Executive with SAP SD Skills

Job Summary:

The Customer Support Executive serves as a critical link between the customer and our operational processes, utilizing the SAP SD module to ensure seamless and accurate management of the entire order-to-cash cycle. This role is responsible for providing high-level customer support while also acting as a key user for the SAP system, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication and problem-solving skills with a solid, hands-on understanding of the SAP Sales and Distribution module.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP SD Order Management: Process customer orders directly within the SAP SD module, ensuring accurate entry of sales orders, delivery documents, and billing documents.

  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to order status, delivery schedules, pricing, and product availability.

  • Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Proactively resolve customer issues and complaints by investigating order-related problems in SAP, such as incorrect pricing, delivery blocks, or billing discrepancies. Collaborate with other internal departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance) to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain master data in SAP, including customer, material, and pricing data, to ensure accuracy and consistency across the system.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze reports from SAP to provide insights into sales, order fulfillment, and customer service performance.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the order-to-cash cycle, particularly related to the use of the SAP system.

  • Training: Provide guidance and support to other team members on basic SAP functionalities to ensure the correct usage of the system.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Previous experience in a customer service or support role within a manufacturing or B2B environment is preferred.

  • SAP SD Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience with the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module is essential. This includes a strong understanding of core functionalities such as:

  • Sales Order Management (VA01, VA02, VA03)

  • Pricing Procedures (V/08)

  • Delivery Processing (VL01N, VL02N)

  • Billing & Invoicing (VF01)

  • Master Data (Customer, Material, Pricing Conditions)

  • Credit Management

  • Technical Aptitude: The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Experience with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM) is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex customer and system-related issues.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry and order processing within the SAP system.

Pay: ₹11, ₹30,397.42 per month
