Head of Export sales

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, channels, and strategic partnerships to expand market presence
Lead and motivate the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales goals
Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve the skills and capabilities of the sales team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of business goals.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance and forecast
Analyse sales performance data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages continuous improvement
Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
Work closely with the product development & innovation teams to ensure alignment with market demands and trends
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing commercial sales team
Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales productivity
Lead initiatives to expand market reach and brand visibility
Co-develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to enhance brand recognition
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote the brand and generate leads
Key Requirements:
15+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets preferably from a spectrum of frozen foods industry
Strong understanding of B2B, HORECA, and B2C sales channels
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire, motivate, and develop the sales team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop and execute effective sales strategies with a results-driven mindset
Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales performance
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a competitive market
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
