Job Scope Summary:

Responsible for serving food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner. In

absence of Hostess, to handle table allocations and effectively controlling the flow of guests. Actively executing buffet| ala

carte setup, service and clearance. Back area upkeep, polishing crockery, cutlery and glassware; food pickup and refilling.

Working inside the bar is an additional scope in case management decides to do so.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and promptly do clearance from tables.
  • Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests.
  • Record transactions in the point of sales system correctly and timely(wherever applicable)
  • Check with guests to assure satisfaction.
  • Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
  • Provides courteous service to guests and responds promptly to guests inquiries, complaints, or requests.
  • Maintain positive guest and team relations.
  • Be familiar with all airport services, features and local attractions activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry or seek assistance in a prompt manner.
  • Accommodate guest requests courteously.
  • Assist lounge service staff in their jobs functions as specified in departmental standards.
  • Ensure serving stations and back areas are upkept at all times.
  • Knowledgeable about ingredients and prices of the food and beverage listed on the menu.
  • Understands and adheres to safety, security policies and procedures.
  • Familiar with company policies and dos & donts.
  • Understanding of Food and Beverage Operating Manual policies and compliance.
  • Adheres to local laws, SOP and attendance policies of the company.
