Steward

Role & responsibilities:

The Steward is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and adhering to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and accurately.

* Set up trays or trolleys with appropriate cutlery, napkins, and condiments.

* Handle guest requests professionally and ensure a high standard of service.

* Collect trays or trolleys from guest rooms after service.

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the service areas and equipment.

* Assist with restocking room service items and supplies as needed.

* Ensure proper billing and obtain guest signatures as per hotel procedures.

* Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

* Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front desk for smooth operations.

* Report any guest complaints or issues to the supervisor immediately.
