E-Commerce Executive (12 Years Experience)
Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Executive will manage daily operations on marketplaces and the company website, including product listings, inventory coordination, order processing, and basic online marketing activities to drive sales and improve customer experience. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with 12 years of e-commerce operations experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update product listings (titles, images, descriptions, pricing, offers) on marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, etc., and/or the company website.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse/operations team for inventory updates to avoid stockouts or listing issues.
- Handle daily order processing, returns, cancellations, and ensure smooth coordination with logistics partners.
- Track and report basic sales, traffic, and conversion data; share daily/weekly reports with management.
- Assist in executing online promotions, campaigns, and deals on marketplaces and the website as per the marketing calendar.
- Monitor competitor listings, pricing, and offers; suggest improvements to stay competitive.
- Coordinate with the customer support team to resolve online customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure product content (images, descriptions, keywords) is optimized for better visibility and conversions.
- Work closely with marketing/design teams for banners, creatives, and other digital assets required for listings and campaigns.
- Stay updated on marketplace policy changes, new features, and e-commerce trends relevant to the category.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any stream; preference for BBA, B.Com, Marketing, or related fields.
- 12 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, preferably with marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms, seller panels, order management, and return/refund workflows.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).
- Strong attention to detail in managing listings, pricing, and inventory.
- Ability to analyze basic sales and performance data and present simple reports.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and marketplace/customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet daily/weekly deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with tools like Uni-commerce, Vinculum, or similar order/inventory management systems.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Prior experience in the same product category (e.g., fashion, electronics, FMCG, home & living, etc.).
