About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials preferably Punjab based for our cattle feed manufacturing plant. The role requires strong market knowledge, vendor management, and cost negotiation skills to ensure timely supply of high-quality inputs.

The main raw materials for cattle feed are maize, wheat bran, rice bran/polish, soybean meal, groundnut cake, mustard cake, cottonseed meal, molasses, minerals, and vitamins. Feed formulators balance these depending on animal type, production stage, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and manage vendors for grains, oil cakes, additives & other raw materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor market price trends.
  • Ensure timely procurement as per production needs.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, quality standards & compliance.
  • Prepare MIS and purchase reports for management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate / MBA with 5-10 years procurement experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Argo / raw material markets.
  • Excellent vendor management & negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & ERP systems.
