Job Role: (RT) Technician
**Department- (QC)

Location:- Indore (Unit-I)**
Key Responsibilities (General, may vary by Level):

  • Conducting Radiographic Tests: Performing X-ray or gamma-ray testing on metallic components to identify defects like cracks, porosity, or inclusions.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Setting up, operating, and maintaining radiographic equipment, ensuring it's calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Report Generation: Documenting test results, preparing detailed inspection reports, and maintaining records.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring testing procedures adhere to industry standards and company-specific guidelines.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Interpretation of Results (Level II): Analyzing and interpreting radiographs to identify defects, assess their severity, and determine if they meet acceptance criteria.
  • Supervision (Level II): Potentially overseeing the work of Level I technicians and assisting in their training.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Certification: BARC (level II) in Radiographic Testing or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on RT experience in manufacturing, preferably in steel, electrode, or related industries.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of RT techniques, safety standards, and quality documentation.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
