Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment for executive and senior leadership roles (C-suite, MDs, Directors, and other critical positions) in investment banking and financial services.
- Partner with senior executives, HR, and business leaders to define role specifications, hiring needs, and recruitment strategies.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies, leveraging headhunting, direct sourcing, industry networks, and executive search methodologies.
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify and engage high-potential executive talent in the banking and financial services domain.
- Drive a confidential and high-touch recruitment process, ensuring a premium candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Advise leadership on compensation trends, talent availability, and industry-specific hiring challenges.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leadership candidates, ensuring succession readiness for critical roles.
- Partner with and manage executive search firms as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and present talent insights and recruitment reports to senior management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5-8+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 5 years focused on executive/C-suite and leadership hiring in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or financial services.
- Proven success in hiring investment bankers, managing directors, and senior leadership roles within financial institutions.
- Strong business acumen and financial industry knowledge, including familiarity with capital markets, M&A, private equity, and investment banking structures.
- Established network of executive-level candidates in the financial services sector.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with credibility at the board and executive level.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive information.
- Proficiency in recruitment tools (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in global leadership hiring across financial hubs (New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.).
- Exposure to regulatory, compliance, and risk leadership hiring within banking.
- Familiarity with succession planning and executive talent advisory.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in executive recruitment.
