About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Regional Sales Manager
to lead sales operations, drive market expansion, and strengthen distribution across Maharashtra and Goa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales (GT/MT/HoReCa/Institutional), a proven record of achieving ambitious targets, and the ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and Distributor Partners to ensure strong market execution and channel performance.
  • Expand General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and HoReCa channels by appointing and developing Super Stockists and Distributors.
  • Manage P&L for the region — oversee forecasting, budgeting, and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive brand penetration across traditional and emerging channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on ATL/BTL activities to enhance visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend tactical interventions for market advantage.
  • Drive operational excellence through efficient coverage, distribution, and execution plans.
  • Ensure strong business relationships with key accounts, institutional partners, and trade networks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in Commerce / Business Management or equivalent (MBA preferred).
  • 4–10 years of proven sales experience in FMCG, Beverages, or Packaged Foods (Regional or Senior Area Manager level).
  • Expertise in setting up and scaling sales & distribution infrastructure across multiple territories.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L, drive growth, and deliver consistent performance.
  • Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within Maharashtra & Goa.
