Role Overview
The
Client Acquisition Intern
will support senior business managers in
lead generation, client engagement, proposal preparation, and market research
. The role provides
hands-on training in global business development
and a structured growth path to become a
Client Acquisition Manager
post-internship.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Research and identify potential clients in
enterprise, government, and academia
.- Build and maintain a
qualified lead database (LinkedIn, CRM, market research)
. Conduct outreach via
emails, LinkedIn, and calls
under guidance of mentors.Client Engagement Support
Schedule and coordinate
client meetings, demos, and presentations
.- Assist in preparing
sales decks, proposals, and case studies
. Shadow senior managers in
client calls and negotiations
.Market Research & Intelligence
Track
AI Transformation and Learning industry trends
.- Prepare
competitive analysis reports
for targeted verticals. Research partnerships and ecosystem opportunities.
Sales Operations & Reporting
Maintain
CRM data accuracy
.- Prepare
weekly reports on outreach, meetings, and pipeline growth
. - Support in
proposal formatting, case study creation, and event participation
.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Lead Generation & Pipeline
- Generate
50–70 qualified leads per month
. - Maintain minimum
80% accuracy in CRM data entries
. - Ensure
consistent outreach (100+ contacts per week)
across channels.
Client Engagement Support
- Assist in
10–12 client meetings/month
. - Deliver
3–4 customized pitch decks/proposals per month
. - Ensure
on-time scheduling and coordination for 100% client calls
assigned.
Market Research & Branding
- Submit
2 industry/market research reports per month
. - Identify
at least 5 new partnership/alliances opportunities per quarter
. - Support team in
1 event/webinar per quarter
(preparation, outreach, follow-up).
Professional Growth
- Complete
all internal training modules (AI Transformation, Learning Transformation, Consultative Sales)
within 60 days. - Demonstrate improvement in
communication & presentation skills
(measured via mentor feedback). - Deliver at least
1 independent client pitch/demo
by end of internship.
Candidate Profile
- Education
: Recent graduates in Business, Engineering, Management, Marketing, or related fields. - Skills Required
: - Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of
technology, AI, or digital transformation
. - Research-oriented mindset with
attention to detail
. - Comfortable using
MS Office, CRM, LinkedIn, and online research tools
. - Hunger to learn, perform, and grow into a
global sales professional
