Director of Catering Sales

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our catering sales team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on catering sales and event management.
Roles and Responsibility
- Develop and implement effective catering sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of catering sales professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events and programs.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in catering sales, event management, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with Marriott International or similar luxury brands is an asset.
