Desired Skill & Expertise 2-3 yrs. of Experience as Content writer At-least 1 yrs. of experience in Technical content writing (Technology like ERP, BI, BPM)  Bachelor's degree programs in journalism, English and other mass communication disciplines A thorough knowledge of standard writing practices is necessary for Content writers Should know basic design fundamentals and be familiar with digital content management systems Excellent English communication skills (Written & Oral) Should be creative, can play and articulate with words.  Should know the common content writing practices include:  Succinct, fact-filled content  An engaging, active tone  Writing broken up by subheadings  Use of bulleted lists  Embedded links throughout the text Role & Responsibilities  Responsible for writing company's webpage content, articles, FAQs and content for online help.  Writing, editing and proof reading copy for client projects based on the material supplied by them.  Writing product descriptions, brand support material etc.  Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation  Study product samples and discuss it with product designers and developers  Coordinate with marketing team to understand the products and services offering and develop content for Web site, blogs and social media.   Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' experience.   Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos  Standardize content across platforms and media  Gather usability feedback from customers, designers  Revise documents as new issues arise  Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis for building up the website including informative short articles.  Ability to translate complex business, product and technical concepts into easy-to-understand narrative.
