Role & responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and maintain user manuals, installation guides, operation manuals, service documentation, and parts catalogues for graphic printing machines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, R&D, and service teams to gather technical information and understand product specifications.
  • Translate complex mechanical and technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Create diagrams, schematics, exploded views, and other illustrations in collaboration with design teams.
  • Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, safety norms, and company guidelines.
  • Update documentation based on product changes, field feedback, and new releases.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams for document verification and validation.
  • Manage document control systems and maintain versioning and records of all documentation.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Candidate preferred from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane.
  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Technical Writer in industrial machinery
  • Solid understanding of mechanical components, systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with illustration tools for creating technical visuals (e.g., CorelDraw, Illustrator, Visio).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
