**About the Role:**

We are looking for a visionary technology leader to join our leadership team as Director – Technology. This role will drive large scale technology initiatives, lead the architecture workstream, manage high-performing engineering teams, and shape the long-term technology vision for our platforms. The person will partner with business, product, and design teams to build scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions for millions of users

**Key Responsibilities**

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams across product lines (web, mobile, backend, data, and platform)

• Drive the architecture workstream, defining and maintaining system design principles, scalability strategies, and technology standards

• Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business and product strategy

• Build and scale high-performance, secure, and reliable platforms handling millions of users

• Drive AI/ML adoption, cloud transformation, and automation across products and processes

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences

• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and ownership

• Mentor and develop engineering leaders, building strong succession pipelines

• Establish best practices for system design, coding, testing, and deployment

• Ensure compliance, security, and data privacy standards across technology functions

• Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and optimize technology investments

**Desired Skills & Experience**

• 14+ years of overall technology experience with at least 5+ years in a senior engineering leadership role

• Proven experience in building and scaling consumer internet, e-commerce, or high-traffic platforms

• Strong expertise in architecture design, cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP), microservices, APIs, and DevOps

• Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions in products, search, personalization, or recommendation systems

• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability, with focus on execution and outcomes

• Track record of building, leading, and mentoring large distributed engineering teams
