Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and hygienic Permanent Home Cook to prepare daily meals for our household. The ideal candidate should be experienced in home-style cooking, able to plan menus, manage the kitchen independently, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and nutrition.

Key ResponsibilitiesCooking & Meal Preparation

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks based on family preferences.
  • Cook a wide range of cuisines (e.g., Indian, continental, vegetarian/non-vegetarian as required).
  • Follow dietary needs, nutrition plans, spice preferences, and allergy restrictions.
  • Maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Prepare meals for guests during gatherings or special occasions.

Kitchen Management

  • Manage pantry inventory and ensure fresh stock at all times.
  • Create weekly meal plans and shopping lists.
  • Handle grocery shopping or coordinate with household staff.
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and waste minimization.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Sanitize cooking surfaces and equipment regularly.
  • Ensure safe handling of ingredients and kitchen appliances.

Additional Responsibilities (Optional)

  • Baking (cakes, desserts, breads).
  • Juices, salads, healthy meal prep.
  • Assisting with occasional household tasks related to the kitchen.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a home cook, chef, or kitchen assistant.
  • Ability to prepare multiple cuisines (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional, disciplined, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to manage kitchen independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal culinary training (optional, not mandatory).
  • Experience working in households or with families.
