Executive - Retail Sales

This role is responsible for driving market share growth and retention for the Plasterboards business in Akola and its surrounding district. The role involves analyzing market potential, identifying opportunities to expand Gyproc retail presence, and executing strategies to increase brand reach. The role also includes implementing promotional activities and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement, expanding the dealer network in new territories, and ensuring statutory compliance to support seamless day-to-day operations.
Role & responsibilities
- Achieve monthly & annual sales targets; dealer-wise tracking.
- Execute trade promotions and loyalty campaigns.
- Expand market through dealer/sub-dealer appointments.
- Track sales forecasts and collections.
- Engage with applicators, contractors, and influencers like architects & fabricators.
- Maintain uniform pricing and drive territory growth.
- Coordinate with project sales teams to support channel distribution.
Preferred candidate profile
A driven sales professional with strong market connect, dealer/channel management experience, and local language proficiency. Must be hands-on, adaptable, and proactive in driving sales, expanding network, and engaging contractors/applicators in the assigned territory.
- 35 years in sales/marketing (preferably in building materials).
- Any graduate; MBA preferred.
