Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day retail operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the store, leading the team, maintaining hygiene standards, driving sales, and delivering superior customer experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesFor Assistant Store Manager (ASM)

  • Support the Store Manager in daily operations and deputize in their absence.
  • Supervise staff schedules, attendance, and task allocation.
  • Assist in inventory management, stock checks, and replenishments.
  • Monitor hygiene, safety, and compliance standards on the shop floor.
  • Help train new employees and ensure smooth team coordination.
  • Engage with customers to resolve queries and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Track sales performance and support initiatives to boost revenue.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline (Retail / Hospitality background preferred).

Experience:

  • ASM / CSA : 0–5 years in retail / F&B / QSR experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Ability to handle operational challenges and customer escalations effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, and retail SOPs.
  • Flexible to work in shifts and weekends.
