Job Title: IT Associate – Applications & Databases

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Associate - Applications to support the implementation, and maintenance of our application systems. The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting application issues, managing user requests, and ensuring that applications meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Support: Provide technical support for application users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner. Data entry, Data validation and report generation and record keeping of the incidents. Application system testing, prior to deployment on production.
• Reporting: Generate and maintain reports, performance, and issues to support decision-making.
• Database Support: Assist in the administration and maintenance of database systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. Data warehousing and cleaning of the raw data towards structured database for various reports.
• Data Management: Support data entry, validation, and extraction processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Use of data over Power BI platform for generation of analytical reports.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database-related issues, including performance tuning and error handling.
• Backup and Recovery: Assist in implementing backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data & applications against loss.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of database configurations, application processes, and procedures.
• User Support: User management, maintain credentials, licence compliances. Assist users for database queries and data retrieval, helping them leverage database functionalities effectively. User Training.
• Monitoring: Monitor application and database performance. Generate reports on usage and efficiency, error logs and rectification of errors captured in the db logs and audit trails.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience of 2 years in application support or a related IT role is preferred.
• Familiarity with application development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Basic understanding of databases and programming languages (e.g., MS SQL, Python) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and in shifts.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with enterprise software applications and tools (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300, ₹375,000.00 per year
