Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Inside Sales Trainer to join our EdTech team. The trainer will be responsible for training and coaching inside sales executives, improving their communication, objection handling, product pitching, and closing skills. This role demands strong sales knowledge, excellent presentation abilities, and a passion for enabling sales teams to exceed their targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct onboarding training for new inside sales executives on product knowledge, sales scripts, CRM tools, and sales processes.
  • Deliver refresher training sessions to improve team performance and address specific gaps in communication, lead conversion, and objection handling.
  • Design and implement training modules (presentations, role plays, mock calls, e-learning content).
  • Monitor sales calls and provide feedback & coaching to individuals and teams.
  • Track performance metrics (conversion ratios, call quality, closure rates) to align training outcomes with business goals.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to identify training needs and design customized sales enablement programs.
  • Stay updated on EdTech market trends, competitors, and buyer behavior to ensure training content is relevant.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred, specialization in Sales/Marketing is an advantage).
  • 3–6 years of experience in Sales Training (Inside Sales / Telesales), preferably in the EdTech / B2C domain.
  • Proven expertise in sales training, coaching, and performance improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of consultative selling, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to handle large teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
