Travel: Mostly office-based work with frequent client visits, but may require travel (local/regional/international).

This position requires travel generating new business prospects, commercial negotiations, delivering presentations and managing customer relationships with our clients. Our new Sales Manager must plan, generate enquiries, submit quotations on time, attend techno commercial meetings, close the orders and collect payment. This job is suited for professionals with Industrial experience, a passion for sales and customer service who enjoy closing business for solution orientated packages.

Your responsibilities will be:

Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales by combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products or services.   • Prospect for new clients and business opportunities in the following markets:
  • End Users, like Pharma, Food and beverage ,Paints, Steel , bitumen
  • EPC – Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
  • OEMS- Original Equipment Manufacturer
  • Engineering Consultants
  • HVAC Consultants
  • Contractors
  • Identifying the Distributors / Agents.
  • Generate quotations using DESMI software & tools and exceed targets
  • Provide Pre-Sales Technical Assistance
  • Develop Long-Term Customer Relationships

What we expect from you:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Experience – A minimum of 8 to 10 years' selling experience in dealing with Positive Displacement Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps,
  • Sales skills – Demonstrate professional selling skills including prospecting, quote generation, closing and solution orientated sales.
  • Problem-solving skills – Ability to identify customer's 'pain', specify, communicate, and offer solutions to customers.
  • Technology experience – Apply the knowledge and technical expertise in the industry market to advise and assist clients with winning solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills – Demonstrate professional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence – Confident to motivate the clients to make purchases and to upsell solutions.
