Program: NGO Empowerment
The NGO Empowerment Vertical focuses on leveraging technology to build a resilient and self-sufficient nonprofit sector. It aims to equip NGOs with the tools, skills, and resources necessary to enhance operational efficiency, improve impact measurement, and scale their initiatives sustainably. The vertical encompasses programs like BigTech, MyKartavya (Corporate Volunteering) and Capacity Building Programs for Non-Profits. By fostering partnerships with corporates, tech experts, and other stakeholders, the vertical empowers NGOs to navigate their digital transformation journeys effectively, ensuring they are better prepared to serve their communities and drive meaningful impact.
Role:
Title: Manager NGO Empowerment
Location: Noida
Reporting to: - Deputy Director & Head - NGO Empowerment
Key Responsibilities
Develop concept notes, proposals, and drive business development for the vertical.
Support the vertical lead with strategically identifying and cultivating new opportunities.
Conducting virtual and physical volunteering activities.
Proofread volunteer submissions, collate case studies and success stories from the partners/supporters.
Report accurate revenue numbers on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. As and when required, it involves monthly cadence calls, presentations and project plan reviews.
Effectively manage end-to-end operations of both the programs to ensure timely reporting and forecasting.
Generating ideas for new events/activities to initiate or scale up existing partnerships in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the organization's efforts in capturing, sharing, and applying knowledge to improve practices.
Lead initiatives to enhance staff capacity, particularly in leveraging technology for social good.
Build partnerships and leverage existing technology to support the development sector.
Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues, synthesizing findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop and maintain database for capturing the programmatic data and maintenance of queries and programs for analysis and related reports.
Create detailed reports in line with corporate requirements to communicate progress and impact.
Ensure efficient program operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Support and participate in programme and project evaluations.
Any other organizational work as and when required.
Key Requirements
6 - 8 years of post-qualification work experience in Operations / Business Development / Client Relationships.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong networks.
Strong ability to multitask competing priorities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess strong program and project management skills, including planning, implementation, and execution of initiatives.
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Self-confidence combined with openness to learning and applying new skills and concepts
Ability to understand new technology and concepts.
Experience of team management and leadership.
Understanding of technology and the gap of technology in the development sector and experience in employee volunteering / engagement will be added advantage
