Core responsibilities

  • Staff and operations management: Supervise and coordinate dining room personnel, create duty rosters, and manage staff schedules.
  • Guest experience: Greet guests, present menus, explain specials, and ensure high-level customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Service and quality control: Monitor and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures for quality service. This includes supervising service staff during shifts and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Coordination and communication: Liaise between the kitchen and service staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Problem-solving: Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Inventory and logistics: Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and ensure the cleanliness of the dining and service areas.
  • Training and development: Train new employees and conduct regular staff meetings.
  • Sales and innovation: Implement strategies to generate sales and introduce innovative ideas for service and menu planning.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory or captain role, often with several years in fine dining or hotel restaurants.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service, with a pleasing personality and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail, strong memory, and time management skills.
  • Physical fitness and a well-groomed appearance.
  • Knowledge of food and beverages, and potentially a degree or diploma in hospitality.

Must be required speaking, reading & understanding Marathi.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
