Job Summary
The Business Development Executive is responsible for selling machinery equipment, machine parts, and maintenance AMC services to generate revenue for the company. The role involves lead qualification, customer management, product demonstrations, competitive analysis, and driving overall sales growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead Management & Customer Development
- Qualify leads generated by the marketing team.
- Manage and develop new customers in the assigned sales territory while maintaining existing customers.
- Conduct product presentations for prospective clients.
Product Demonstration
- Coordinate and execute product demos:
- Schedule demos as per customer availability
- Deliver demos tailored to customer needs
- Resolve queries during the demo session
Market & Competitor Awareness
- Stay updated with market trends and emerging opportunities.
- Perform competitor analysis and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Sales Meetings & Customer Interaction
- Set up meetings with prospective customers to understand their needs and concerns.
- Resolve customer queries and objections promptly.
- Gather customer feedback and share it with internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Close sales deals and follow up until final closure.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams for a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in exhibitions and industry events on behalf of the company.
- Attend and conduct sales training sessions as required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain CRM records and provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager.
- Comply with all HR policies.
Requirements
Education
- Any graduate (Sales approach is more important than the degree).
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years (Machinery sales experience preferred).
Technical Skills
- Demo execution

- Customer relationship management
- Report preparation
